Leaving Asheville behind for a drive just shy of five hours, we arrived in Savannah and were immediately struck by its distinct and lovely character. A historical horse drawn carriage tour provided a captivating glimpse into the city's past. Renowned for its intriguing ghost stories, the city offers spooky ghost tours in the evenings.
Savannah's food scene proved to be a real treat, offering everything from comforting Southern dishes to the incredibly flavorful and high-quality Korean food at Madam Butterfly, where our server John was exceptional – both friendly and professional. Our last day held a pleasant surprise when we decided to try our luck at the renowned Olde Pink House Restaurant. Despite being booked solid for a week, we were thrilled to find a spot in the downstairs bar. The spring day was beautiful, and the open French doors filled the charmingly elegant bar with a perfect breeze. While the food at The Olde Pink House was enjoyable, it was the enchanting atmosphere that truly made the experience memorable.
